Note: This is an online class using the Zoom platform. You will be emailed a link to access the class, please save the link to join 5-15 minutes prior to class start time. 

Self-care Saturdays provide an opportunity to sink into a longer practice filled with an array of yoga tools to help you care for your body and mind, and come back to your spirit. We will explore gentle breath practices to calm the nervous system and quiet the mind, restorative yoga and somatic practices to release muscular tension, movements and postures to embody strength and flexibility, and yoga nidra to allow deep rest for the body while exploring a meditative state in the mind.  
 
This is an all-levels class accessible to those who can transition between floor and standing postures, options for use of props and pose variations are provided to support a practice that balances challenge and ease. It is helpful (but not necessary) to have a chair, a strap (belt or scarf), 2 blocks, 2-3 firm blankets or beach towels, and a mat. As much as possible, please try to position yourself and your camera, so that the teacher is able to see you during class.
