East meets west. This class blends the traditional Asian disciplines of Qi Gong and Yoga with the western rehabilitative practices of Active Isolated Stretching and Feldenkrais  .  Using a traditional yoga format the class will begin with a warm-up of breathing and stretching exercises followed by a Qi Gong form.  Qi Gong is an ancient practice of fluid movements that balance the chakras (our energy centers), the meridian system (our electrical pathways) and the organ system. Qi gong practice harmonizes each of the bodies energy fields: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.   "Qi" translates to energy or vitality, "Gong" translates to mastery.  Come learn how to be the master of your own vital life force.
