This Release & Realign class series is designed to encourage the release of muscular tension and the realignment of the body for optimal well-being. The class will include a combination of therapeutic yoga practices and Hannah Somatics exercises. For optimal results, practitioners are encouraged to practice the techniques in between class sessions, and to attend all classes either in person or by video.
The class is accessible to those who can transition between floor (or a firm bed) and standing, options for use of props and pose variations are provided to support a personalized practice. It will be helpful to have a chair, a strap (belt or scarf), 2 blocks, 2-3 firm blankets or beach towels, and a mat. As much as possible, please try to position yourself and your camera, so that the teacher is able to see you during class.
